Ge Yifeng stabbed his newly wedded
wife to death and sent the photos of
her dead body to her family to
convince them that she was really
dead.
A man, Ge Yifeng has been arrested after
admitting to killing his wife in China.
Ge Yifeng and his wife, Chen , both 24, got
married recently but Chen chose to live with her
parents in Huangcun, County, Anhui. Two
months into their marriage, after series of
disagreements and clashes, the couple got in an
argument in the car which led to Ge stabbing his
wife multiple times with a pair of scissors and
also hitting her with a hammer.
The 24-year-old Ge Yifeng was arrested on
charges of murder as it was also revealed that
after killing his wife, he sent photos of her dead
body to her family, friends and relatives to reveal
the news of the death to them. After Yifeng
killed Chen, he called her family and friends and
told them what had happened. They did not
believe him, so as evidence, he sent them photos
of her body.
After surrendering to the police, Yifeng confessed
to the crime, and said that he could not get along
with his mother-in-law, who told him that he
was not worthy of her daughter.
He added that he was extremely unhappy living
with his wife’s family. Yifeng said that before
they got married, they both agreed to move in
together. However, after their wedding, she
suddenly changed her mind and wanted to go to
Beijing, to live with her family.
